Rosario Alumni Sabbath

Purchased in 1954, Rosario is always a serene setting. Alumni Sabbath at Rosario is an enriching alumni opportunity, come for Sabbath or the entire weekend. Activities will include presentations by guest speaker, meals for the weekend, vespers programs on Friday and Saturday evenings, Sabbath school and church service, nature walk, bonfire with s'mores on the beach (weather permitting), and lots of great music and fellowship.
Plan to join us for a weekend of fellowship and learning, registration will open in June. The schedule will be very similar to last year's schedule.
Weekend speaker: Alex Bryan, D.Min.
Alex Bryan is Senior Vice President and Chief Mission Officer for Adventist Health. He has more than 30 years of experience in Adventist healthcare, higher education, and church organizations. Alex leads Adventist Health strategy and discourse about ethics, alignment to mission, spiritual care, relationship to faith communities, global mission, and theological foundations of healthcare. In addition, he oversees Adventist Health philanthropy and grants initiatives.
Prior to joining Adventist Health in 2018, Alex was senior pastor of a large university church and president of a healthcare college. He has served as an adjunct professor teaching theology, business, communication, and honors studies at numerous universities over the past 16 years.
Alex has a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in history and religion from Southern Adventist University, a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University, a Doctor of Ministry degree from George Fox University, and a Master of Science in Bioethics from Albany Medical College. He is a published author and speaks widely to diverse audiences in government, healthcare, education, church, and other civic, business, and nonprofit organizations. His published works include his most recent release, Medicine as Prophecy: A Brief Theology of Adventist Healthcare.

Guests to Rosario will be expected to comply with Washington State Department of Health requirements. Learn more about the requirements for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
